Software Carpentry is a two-day workshop designed to teach beginning computing skills and best practices to faculty, staff, and students. This introductory workshop will cover how to incorporate better practices when working with data and to strengthen data management skills.

Python is a popular language for scientific computing, and great for general-purpose programming as well. This is a beginner-level workshop for researchers presented by OU Libraries. Our workshops cover better practices for research, data, coding, and communication. No prior experience is needed (i.e. no prerequisites).

Continuing our monthly Mind and Body Awareness series, Morningcrest Presents! will host the Culinary Medicine team from the OU-TU School of Community Medicine. Attendees will learn more about the "food as medicine, food as community" interprofessional mission of the culinary medicine program, followed by a first sneak peek at building plans for the new culinary medicine teaching kitchen.
