Tips for Staying Healthy

#TulsaSooners, here are a few tips to help you stay healthy:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% ethyl alcohol
  • Cover coughs/sneezes away from your hands

Research Week Lightning Talks

This year the OU-Tulsa Scholar Squad will host two Lightning Talk sessions during Research Week.

  • Student, Resident, Postdoc, and Staff Talks will be Thursday, April 9 from 4pm to 5pm in the Library Gallery

  • Faculty Talks will be Friday, April 10 from 11am to 12pm in the Library Gallery

Presentation topics can cover the design and operation of a research project as well as programs/projects that describe the creation and improvement of work, services, technologies, procedures, and so much more.

New Online Reservation System

Guess what, #TulsaSooners? You can now reserve group study rooms and treadmill desks online at ou-tulsa.libcal.com. You can also set up an appointment with a librarian and find out about upcoming events at the library.

OU-Tulsa 3MT Competition

OU-Tulsa faculty, staff, and students, do you know a student who has great research to share and can share it in only three minutes? OU-Tulsa will be hosting a local 3-minute thesis competition on Tuesday, January 14th at 6:00pm in the Schusterman Library. Students will present their dissertation, thesis, or other graduate level projects in just 3 minutes (and with just 1 slide) to a non-specialist audience.

Teddy Bear Drive

Help bring joy to children by donating a new stuffed toy for the Children's Advocacy Center. This annual campus tradition provides year-round happiness to children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Bring any new stuffed tow to the Schusterman Library by December 18th.

Holiday & Intersession Hours

The Schusterman Library will have modified hours for the holidays and intersession, beginning Sunday, December 15 and ending Saturday, January 12. See the full post for details.
